However both ubuntu and ultimate edition are usb or DVD bootable! You can also install them inside your windows. In Ubuntu there is a file called wibi.exe which installs ubuntu inside windows. But you cannot install Ultimate Edition inside windows with wibi.exe . To do that you have to do some tricks.

How to Install Google Earth on Ubuntu Red Hat Linux

In my previous post I told that google earth is also available for Linux. It's only for ubuntu and red hat.

You can also install it if you are using any Derivative of ubuntu or red hat . Ubuntu Derivative means other linux which are based on ubuntu. There are many ubuntu and red hat derivatives. Checkout here for ubuntu derivatives and here for Red hat derivatives.

For example I am using 'Ultimate Edition' linux which is a derivative of ubuntu. So I can install Google earth on Ultimate Edition.

Download google earth for linux from here or here. After download you have a file called GoogleEarthLinux.bin . Now open your terminal and type cd Path_Where_Google_Earth_bin_file_is_saved . Now type chmod +x GoogleEarthLinux.bin . Then type sh ./GoogleEarthLinux.bin . Now your google earth will start to install.

So I wrote very simple and easy steps for how to add read more link automatically when I write a blog in blogger.com . You need to do some editings. Just follow step by step given below and you will be success. Don't worry about the process.

Step 1: Go to blogger.com from your browser. Login to your account.

How to Install Ubuntu Ultimate Edition With Wibi Windows installer

Every Ubuntu Ultimate Edition users has problem to install it with wibi. Because it don't support wibi. But made a trick to install it with wibi. So that you can install it inside windows as Ubuntu. So I think cool article will help you to do so. Follow step by step mentined below.Download the latest version of Ubuntu Linux from ubuntu.com . After download you have an iso file of ubuntu. Now download wibi windows installer of ubuntu. Now put your both ubuntu iso and wibi exe in same folder.

Now click on wibi.exe file . You will see a window like below.

Now select your installation drive. I will suggest you to select C: drive. Now select the installation size as 10GB(this will depend on your drive free space). Enter your any user name and password. After installation, don't reboot your computer.

Now go to C drive, because you installed ubuntu in C drive. You will see a folder named ubuntu.

Now you have to do a job. First delete the installation.iso file. Download the latest Ultimate Edition from ultimateedition.info . Then rename it into installation.iso . How to Add Photos to Google Earth

I was asked 'How to Add any Photo to Google Earth so that those Photos will be Seen on Specific place' for Many Times by My Friends. So I wrote this article thinking to help you with my experience. Google Earth is exactly a crying needed software by which we can see the world's real map. This has also many services. For example you can add placemarks, photos and many more.

You are here to learn about adding photos to google earth. It's not so hard. Follow step by step below and you will see that this process is very easy.

You have to use Panoramio.com to do that because google provides this service via panoramio.com .

Step 1: Go to Panoramio.com and login with your Google/Gmail account.

Step 2: After that you you will be asked for a Panoramio user name. (Don't confused with your gmail username. Panoramio is a different service.) Enter your an username as you wish. Then click on accept.

Step 3: Then you username will be created and you will be redirected to a page like Below.

Step 4: Now click on 'Upload your photos' to proceed. Panoramio will prompt an uploader page to you.

Step 6: After selecting your desired photo, It will start to uploade. After uploading you will be redirected to a place as below.

Step 7: From Image Describer window you can add page title and tags. You can also add comment. Click on 'Map this photo'.

Step 8: Enter your city or area and Country name for where you want to put your image. Then a map will be loaded nerely to your city. If you cannot see you city, scroll your map to come across it.

Step 9: From map you will see a red indicator . Just use this object to locate your image on map. Then click on save and you are done.

Note: Your submitted image will not appear on the Google earth immediately . It may take some months to appear on Google earth. It depends on how Google earth updates their map.

Installing wine program on ubuntu and other Ubuntu derivatives is a problem to the linus users. So read this post to get helped.In this tutorial, I will show you how to install Wine on Ubuntu and other Ubuntu derivatives (example: Kubuntu, Mint, See more Ubuntu derivatives). There are many process to install a software on linux. So for wine, it is also same. I have mentioned a better tutorial below. Follow step by step.

1. Go to System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager . Write wine in the Quick search box. Then it will the list of installable wine and its plugins. If you cannot see any name related to wine then do as below.

2. Open the Software Sources menu by going to System->Administration->Software Sources. Then select the Other Software tab and click on Add.

3. Now copy the code ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa in APT line and click on Add Source.

4. Click close to finish, and then reload the package information when prompted. You need to have Internet connection to do it.

5. Go to System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager . Write wine in the Quick search box. Then it will the list of installable wine and its plugins.

6. Now right click on wine and click 'mark for installation' . Agree all questions when promped. After marking, click on 'apply' to start the installation. Thats all.

Note: If you still have problems to install wine with Synaptic package manager, then follow the steps below.

6. Go to Applications->Ubuntu software Center . If you don't see Ubuntu software center, then try to find 'Software Center'.

7. Type wine in the search box. Then the title of wine would come as below.

10. Now ru your wine from Applications > System toos > wine or Applications > Wine.

Click the ” Turn Windows features on or off ” from the left pane. 3. Now uncheck all the Feature that you don’t use in Windows 7 and restart the system for the changes to take effect.

You may go for the advanced settings for further tweaking if you want.

Type ” msconfig ” in the “RUN” option from start menu press [Enter] to open up the System Configuration Utility. 2. Now navigate to the “Start Up” tab. 3. Untick the Entries which are not needed.

You can keep some of your favorite sounds turned on if you want, but sounds played during the Windows 7 start up, shutdown, Logon, log off, start navigation etc should be set to none if you want some real speed boost.

Now a days a great problem in our windows computers become so slow day by day. It's a very irritating when we feel that our computer is slow and we cannot working on our computer properly. Because every man hates slow PC. So I wrote some tips and ways to make your windows( XP, 7 ) computer running more faster. There are many reasons why your computer becomes slow. Let's try to solve them. 1. Never Install Useless Programs : We have to install different kinds of softwares, add-ons on our computer. But try to install only important softwares permanently. When you install an application on your computer for trial to see what is it and how it works, if you see it is no more needed, then just uninstall it. 2. Make Refresh the desktop after closing any program. It will make faster your system because it removes any unused files from the RAM. 3. Let Your Desktop to be Clean: Never fill up the desktop with different kinds of folders, files and shortcuts. Because these will increase the loading time of your desktop. Thus your computer will become slow. 4. Leave a Big Space in Your C drive : C drive is the location where windows is installed. When you run your computer, windows and games you computer uses C drive for virtual memory and some programs also c drive for temporary memory. So if you don't leave space in your c drive, your computer will become slow. 5. Always Let Your Recycle Bin to be Empty : Always make your recycle bin clean. Because recycle bin reserves your temporary deleted files. 6. Defragment Your HardDisk: Defragment your hard-disk on a regular basis. I will suggest you to do it once a month. Defragment make your hard-drive to get more free space by removing unnecessary files. It will also rearrange your file system and make a healthy environment for files. 7. Try to Use Less System Tray icons : Reduce the number of system tray icons at the right bottom side of your computer. System tray icons are quick indicator of which big programs are running at the background of your computer. But tray icons also reduce of your computers speed! When you are installing any program, disable the option of having tray icon if you don't feel it is necessary for you. 8. Always Delete Temporary Files from Your System : The concept of "Temporary Files" is very old. Temporary files are created with every Operating System and maximum softwares. You should not leave temporary files when they are not necessary. But it is confusing from where and which temporary files should be deleted. So try to use a better software to do it. Read about a best and free temporary files remover to speed up your computer. 9. Be patient when you starting your compute. Let your PC to boot up completely before open any application. Otherwise you may have face some problems. 10. Disable auto-run feature of removable devices. 11. Use an Anti-Virus : Always try to use a better ant-virus and regularly update it. 1. Login to your gmail account from gmail.com .

2. In your gmail account page you will see a "settings" link at the top of right side.

3. Enter into settings menu. After entering into settings many, you will on general tab of settings menu.

4. Now find out the field of "Vacation responder:" . Make your vacation respond turned on by giving tick mark on it as below.

5. Now write the subject and message in message field which you want to send automatically to any incoming mail (when any person sends you mail). Don't confuse with "Ends" field. Just leave it.

How to Remove a Programs Entry(Name) From "Add or Remove Programs" or "Programs and Feature"

In windows, in the control panel there is a program which is used to manage your installed programs on your computer. With this we can view or remove applications from compute. In windows XP, it is called "Add or Remove Programs" and in windows 7 it is called "Programs and Features". The softwares which are installed manually on windows are listed in it. If we remove or uninstall any program from computer, then their names are removed from this application manager.

Now come to two terms. 1. Some times after removing a program, the name(entry) of the program will exist. Its a problem of registry. Because though you removed the program, its name is left in registry. 2. We may have to manually remove the name of any installed program from "add or remove programs" without uninstalling the program. Because you may wish to hide its name. So this term is, "How to hide any software or program name from 'add or remove programs' without uninstalling or removing it from computer" Now if you want to do any of above two terms, you have to edit registry. So far I discussed that installed program names are stored on registry. Editing the windows registry settings is confusing, risky and hard to remember. So you have to use a program called "addremovecleaner.exe" which will list you the installed softwares on your systm. And you can remove(hide)/clean up those names by using it. It actually edits registry.

Run(Boot) Any Operating System Without Restarting Your Computer

Running(booting) one or multiple Operating System (OS) inside your windows or Linux or Mac is a crazy idea. Because we know that only one operating system can be run at a time. But modern computers and softwares made it possible to run multiple OSs at the same time without harming your existing operating system. For example you can run/boot Ubuntu Linux or Mac OS X inside windows(when windows is running) without restarting your PC and boot/run Windows or Mac OS X when Linux is running.

All you need to do, you need to install a Program named "Virtual Box" on your system. Virtual Box is developed by Oracle Corporation as part of its family of virtualization products. It is installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional guest operating systems, each known as a Guest OS, can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment. Virtual box is available able for all Operating Systems like Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris.

How to Use Virtual Box:
(When I was writing this post, I was on Linux Mint. So I tried another OS such as Windows XP to run with Virtual Box in Linux Mint)
1. Download virtual box for your running system.

2. Install it on Your System. And run it.

3. Click on New. Then It popup an window like below.

4. Click Next. Then your window will be shown as below.

5. Write the name of your operating system you want to use. You can also select your operating system manually. I selected Windows XP.

6. Click next and it will want Base Memory Size. Try to use greater base memory from recommended size. Then click next.

7. Use default settings of creating new hard disk. And click next. And next.

8. Use Dynamic Expanding Storage for Hard Disk Storage Drive. Then next.

9. Now you will see an windows like below.

10. Click on the folder icon at the right side to select the place where you want to put/save virtual hard disk. Select 5 to 10 GB size for virtual hard disk. Click next. And finish. Then finish.
11. Now your window is probably as below.

12. Now click on start to to run your desired OS as portable on this virtual machine.
13. An window like below will pop up. Select next. Then it will as below.

14. Click on the folder icon at the right side to select the iso file of your operating system which you want to boot in this virtual machine. Then click next and finish.

15. Now the operating system(I used XP) will start to load. And it should be run as real.

16. Use "Ctrl" key to control your mouse direction between you running and virtual system.
16. If you see any error message, then either you have low memory or your iso file is corrupted. Check MD5SUM code of your iso file to check it bad or right.

Some times we make mistakes when adding friends on Facebook. Because we sometimes wrongly add some friends and then think that we should not add them as friend. Then we have to cancel or undo our pending/awaiting friend request so that our friend request will not be sent to him! But this is a great problem for many peoples to delete or undo/cancel a pending a friend request. Do you know that it's very easy?. But because of our carelessness , it became hard. What you need to do : 1. Just click on the persons name (whom you want to cancel friend request) to go to his profile. 2. On the top of his/her profile, you will see a line "Awating Friend Confirmation" as below..

How to Reset COMS or BIOS Password if you Forget it.

BIOS(Basic Input & Output) is a system of your computer's motherboard/CPU. It helps your computer to communicate with Operating System and other hardwares. So BIOS needs some temporary memory to store some information. There is a battery in mother board of your computer, called COMS Battery which helps BIOS to remember informations and clock time when your computer is off. All time we see a BIOS popup when we start our computer.

We can protect our BIOS settings by locking it with password. But what will happen if we forget our bios password?

Yes, you have a fine solution if you forget your BIOS password. you have to remove your COMS battery from your mother board and wait for 15 minutes. Then again set it to you mother board. Now you BIOS password is gone.

Now start you computer. Now at the BIOS popup, there will be some message and out of them you will see a line like "Couldn't load BIOS information. Press F2 to enter into BIOS". Now enter into BIOS and press F9 to load default settings. Then press F10. And save settings. Now restart you computer.

Bypass Windows Folder Security Check(Access Denied) to Access and Enter into Protected folders

Many of my friends asked me that, some times they cannot enter into some system folders and files of Windows XP, 7. When they to enter into those folders, a error or security message prompt is shows like "This folder access is denied" or "You cannot access this folder due to security reasons"or "Location is unavailable". Why it happens? Because actually there is an another hidden administrator on your windows system which is called "System Administrator". System administrator always try to protect your windows from being unauthorized access.

Now you have to do a little hack(trick) to access any protected folder or file and take control over it. It's not a crack. You have to make changes to the registry settings to get the administrative power to browse system folders and open protected files.
Editing registry manually is not suitable for all jobs on windows computer. Some times it is risky and also confusing.

So you have to use a specific registry editor reg file to edit registry settings to take access on folders and files.
TakeOwnerShip.reg is the most famous and safe registry editor to take control over protected files and folders.
Now let's take a tour of this job.

1. Now I will try to enter into a protected 'Documents and Settings' folder without taking control or editing registry. So it will show an error message.

2. Download TakeOwnerShip.zip package file from 4Shared.

3. Enter into the zip package and you will see to registry editor file. One is InstallTakeOwnership.reg and another is RemoveTakeOwnership.reg.

4. Now click on InstallTakeOwnership.reg file and you will be prompt with a security message as below.

5. Click on yes to edit registry settings. And ok.

6. Now go to the folder where you want to enter. And right click on the folder.

7. In the right click menu you will see a new entry " Take OwnerShip". Select it.
8. After selecting Take Ownership, you will be prompted with a security message. Select yes to proceed.
9. Now you will see a running windows dos command window as below, which is granting your access.

10. After finishing this automatic dos command prompt, you will have access to enter into that folder.
11. For example, I have now power to enter into 'Documents and Settings ' folder.

12. Do the same for other folders and files to bypass system security check.

In this tutorial I will show how to run or boot your favourate linux distribution (Shortly known as Distro) from any usb flash drive/stick.Firstly you need an USB burning program which will burn/install your linux iso file. There are many programs to burn iso file into usn device. I will recommend you to use "UNetBootIn" which is available for free download at unetbootin.sourceforge.net . It is official website of unetbootin.

UNetbootin is the best program to install any live linux distro into USB stick. Download your UNetbootin program for windows. Then run it inside your windows. Then you will see a window like below.

Now you have to do some simple jobs. Don't be confused with many options in this window. Firstly you have to enter into 'Distribution List' and select the distribution you want to install. Then select the version. Now come to 'Disk Image' bar and select the type 'iso' instade of 'floppy img'. Then select your main linus iso file from the right side of Disk Image bar. Now from the bottom select the USB Drive as 'type' and select it's location. Other things should be unchanged. Now click on ok to continue. Then you will see the installation process like below.

Booting from USB is not a complex thing. Ok, think yourself what happens when you don't boot from usb? When you don't boot from removable drive or USB, your computer simply boot from hard disk. Actually booting means loading operating system. Here I want to Share a cool tutorial how to install Ubuntu Linux inside windows with wibi , without burning ISO to CD/DVD and without formating or partitioning Hard disk.

Ubuntu is the most popular Linux distro in the world. There are also many other Linux distros which are based on Linux.

Ubuntu 10.04 Desktop

What is Wibi:

Wibi.exe is a windows program which is used to install Ubuntu inside windows without making change to the computer.

Ubuntu and maximum of all other Ubuntu based distros like kubuntu, Edubuntu, Super Ubuntu etc all can be installed with wibi. Wibi is used to install many Linux for dual boot and not to make any change to computer.

How to use Wibi:

When you download any Ubuntu or any Ubuntu based distro, you will see its an ISO file. For example Ubuntu 10.04's file name is '-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso' .

Now download 7zip exe package from here.

After download install 7zip on your windows. Now open your ISO file with 7zip. In the iso package, you will see many folders and files.

At the bottom there will be a file called wibi.exe . Extract wibi.exe into same directory where your iso file is located. I mean put the iso file and wibi at same place.

Now select your installation drive. I will suggest you to select C: drive. Now select the installation size as 7GB. Enter your any user name and password. Now press install. Then Ubuntu will begin to install inside windows without making changes to your computer.

After the installation, restart your computer. Again when your computer starting, your computer will prompt you to select windows or Ubuntu. This is dual boot Ubuntu Linux with windows XP or 7. Now enter into Ubuntu and your Ubuntu will start for first installation. After the installation has finished, it will automatically restart your computer. Yes, where every peoples are busy with their Facebook social network, You may still need to delete your Facebook account for a certain cause. However, cause is your's why you want to disable or deactivate your account of Facebook. I want to just show the tutorial how you can remove your Facebook account. How to Disable a Facebook account : 1. Login to your that Facebook account which you want to remove. 2. At your home page, at the top right side, go to Account > Account Settings.

4. In this form you can provide informations for "Reason for leaving" , "Please explain further" and "Email opt out". Selecting cause for reason for leaving is must. This means that when you will plug your pen drive to any computer, that computer will show your desired icon or a thumbnail beside the device. But the way of changing the icon of your USB device is very easy though many people don't know it!. So I wrote a basic and easiest way to do this job. No software or tool is required. You just need your icon file, a text editor(Notepad). Lets take the tour :

How to change icon of your removable disk :

1. Before giving custom icon, your USB icon will be default according to your windows theme. You have to make a new text file here. To do that, right click on your mouse. From right click menu, go to New > New Text document. Now you will be sent to friend list manager home. At the left sidebar, your all list are show. In the above list manager you can add more friends to the desired list by searching or clicking on "+" signs suggested by Facebook. 8. Now you are done. You can deal with the lists you made.

#Hide a List of Friends From Chat Bar or Make Yourself Offline from one or Multiple List:

Your all friends in chat bar will be viewed as list category. You can hide one or more list from chat bar or without hiding, you can also set them offline. So the advantage is you don't need to hide yourself from all online friends. To hide a desired list follow the steps : 1. Click on friends list from chat bar. Then that list(friends assigned to the list) will not be shown in chat bar. You will also become invisible/offline to them. What is Fake Facebook Login Page and How it is Used to Hack Facebook Accounts

So I was thinking to share this important information with you all. First start with a little experience of mine : Once when I was surfing facebook with logged in, suddenly I was prompted with a facebook login script inside facebook!(attention, it was inside facebook!). But without entering my login information in that script, I looked arround my main facebook window and I found that I was still logged in! So what's problem? If I am logged in, then why facebook is asking me to again log in? I was astonished. But I didn't take too time to understand that, it's nothing but a fake login page! Can you guess how I discovered it? I discovered it by checking my URL at the browser address bar. But that fake login page is inside the real facebook! How it possible? It was possible because it was a facebook application. So the URL was looked like "http://apps.facebook.com/*custom_app_name*" . I made a screenshot of the address bar. See the following: [caption id="attachment_858" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Facebook fake login page sample"][/caption] Remember, all third party developed facebook apps are hosted at the http://apps.facebook.com/ directory and these apps can be developed with external functionality and custom HTML(in facebook is modified as FBML with some changes of coding). The attacker has made this script as third party facebook app to get usernames and passwords of victims. But I could defend myself because of consciousness. This method of hacking login information is called Phishing. There are also other methods including Keylogging and advanced hacking techniques. Let's discuss how Phishing works.

How an Attacker Will Steal/Hack your Facebook Password with Phishing :

1. First he will make a fake login sctipt which will look exactly as real page. Here is a sample. This sample includs an HTML script script1.html and a PHP file write.php . 2. Now he will put the both script1.html and write.php on his own web hosting directory. The attacker is very tricky to give his paid or free website a confusing name such as http://facebooklogin007.com or http://logintofacebook.110mb.com or http://hackfb.110mb.com/facebook.html something like this so the fool users will not take care about the URL. (Here I used www.110mb.com as free hosting example. But there are other free web hostings available on the internet such as www.t35.com ect.) 3. Now suppose the fake login script is hosted at http://hackfb.110mb.com/facebook.html. Now the attacker(hacker) will send this URL(http://hackfb.110mb.com/facebook.html) to the victims or to the peoples those he want to hack. 4. Now if the victim come across this page he will have tend to enter his login information including password! 5. Then the password will automatically saved in a new file called passes.txt which was declared in write.php file's source code . 6. The hacker will check the text file to get victim's password. That's the basic way of hacking facebook account by many bad guys. So now you can understand how you should protect yourself from this scam. When you are logging to a page (not only for facebook, but also for other accounts) , please check your URL. How to Protect Your Facebok Account from being Hacked by Attacker :

Security is not complete without you. So only your own consciousness will protect yourself. 1. Get an automatic notification via Email when an Attacker will login to your facebook account with you password. 2. Always try to check your URL(page address) at the address bar of your browser. 3. Make you PC secured. Keep your antivirus updated. I recommend Kaspersky, ESET-NOD32, AVG, Avira, Mcaffe, etc. 4. Always maintain an administrator account and another guest or user account on you PC. So your near enemy will not able to install hidden keylogger on your Computer from guest account. 5. Don't click on suspicious links those are sent to your mail inbox, wall, char bar, etc. Try to check/authorize that first. Rename Your Pen Drive/USB With Any Name With Any Language In Any Font as You Want With Autorun

Today I am going to share a most crying needed thing with you. A few days ago one of my friends asked me "How can I give Bengali name to my pen drive?" That time I could give him solution on it. So I was thinking to write on it to know it other peoples. But why to write on "Changing pen drive name"?. Is there any problem to give it name with another language/font instead of primary supported alphabets? Yes there is a problem. Let's discuss how you can do it. Normally you cannot rename your pen drive with non-supported codes of fonts. If you try to use non supported characters, it will show the following error : "The drive label is too long or contains invalid character". [caption id="attachment_901" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Error: The drive label is too long or contains invalid character"][/caption] But while researching with viruses that spread with windows autorun feature and CD/DVD autorun features, I discovered this nice way to give your USB/Pendrive or removable disc any name even in your own language. That means you can rename or update your pendrive name with Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, Chinese or any other language as you want. Let's do it:

How to Change Pendrive Name With AutoRun:

1. Just follow all steps to create an autorun.inf file inside your pendrive at "How to Change The Icon of Your USB Pendrive or Removable Disc". 2. Now edit your autorun.inf file. Add the line label=*your_custom_name* after [autorun] line. For example, if you want to give custom name "TechGainer", then the code should be like the following :

Now save the autorun.inf file in the root of your pendrive. 6. Plug out the pen drive from your computer. Then again plug in to the computer. Now see it's really working! How to Completely Block Any Website in a Windows Computer Without Any Software

This tutorial will help you if you want to block any unwanted website address/URL on your computer for any browser like FireFox, Google Chrome, Safari, IE, Opera, etc without any kind of extra software. Because some times we need to block many kinds of websites such as porn, adult, drug, etc related sites. In institutions like schools, office, administrators also need to block a huge list of site. But it's veru easy to do. Let's proceed:

Block One or Multiple URLs on WIndows PC:

1. Go to C:(C drive) > Windows > System32 > Drivers > etc. 2. Now you will see such files like below. Now at the end of note texts, add your all black list site URLs followed by 127.0.0.1 and a space. For example, if you want to block facebook.com, then the line should be 127.0.0.1 Facebook.com . You can stop the offending gadget from loading by editing the Windows Sidebar Gadgets settings file. Here are the instructions, which apply to Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

Solve Your Windows Vista or 7 Gadget Problems by the Following Simple Steps:

Process 1:

If Sidebar.exe process is running, you wouldn’t be able to write to its settings file. Launch Task Manager (taskmgr.exe), select the sidebar.exe process and terminate it if it’s running [caption id="attachment_983" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="sidebar.exe in windows 7 task manager"][/caption] Click Start, type the following path in the Search box and hit ENTER. %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\ (You can type it in the Run dialog as well.) Configuration information for the last installed desktop gadget is usually located at the end of the INI file. If you don’t want to go through all the hassle, simply rename or delete the Settings.ini and restart Sidebar.exe. It creates a brand new Settings.ini file, that means the customizations for your Sidebar/gadgets will be lost and you need to add the gadgets manually and reconfigure again.

Process 2:

**Restore your desktop gadget to do so.

1. click on the windows start or,

2.type restore gadgets and Windows will try repairing your gadgets. *** Turn windows gadget feature off and on again. To do so, 1.click on your windows start orb 2.type add or remove programs. 3.Click on it and to your right you will see 'turn windows feature on or off'. Click on it and uncheck 'Windows gadget platform' and press ok. Close everything and restart your computer. Repeat the same steps but now turn back your 'Windows Gadgets Platform' on again and see if it works.

Process 3:

For those who prefer to turn UAC off and still use Windows 7 gadgets on their desktops, here is a simple registry fix to resolve the problem of Windows 7 Gadgets not working when UAC is turned off!!!

Go to Start –> Search and type regedit
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings
Right Click on the right pan of the registry editor and Create A New DWORD(of 32 Bit Value). Name it “AllowElevatedProcess” and set its value as “1″.
Close the registry

That is all folks!!! Now right click on desktop and add the desktop gadgets. Also try adding gadgets to the windows 7 sidebar to ensure that the gadgets are working properly.

Process 4:

*Is system restore an option? Try to do a system restore to your system the its last known good working configuration, it might resolve your problem. Be sure to scan for affected programs to see what changes system restore will bring to your computer Tried to make the steps as simple as possible for you to be able to achieve these troubleshooting without any problems. Hope this will solve your problem. Update: Some times for some of you, it seems that the above processes are not working. How to Clear/Remove All Browsing Data, History, Passwords and Other Privacy from all Browsers Like FireFox, Chrome, IE, Opera and Safari

When we browse the web with our favourite browsers, our browsers store different kinds of browsing data including history, login, passwords, forms, site preferences and many other privacy informations which are saved in cache and cookies of the web browser. So these information tell our online identity in a browser. So it's very easy to understand that if we surf internet from a publick place we must not leave our browsing data on browser. We should clear our all data to protect ourselves from privacy theft by others. So I made some simple tutorials on deleting browsing history from common web browsers as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Opera etc.

(Remember, clearing browsing data may not protect you if you don't conscious about clearing your system's data).

Delete Browsing Data from Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer and Safari :

I have made the tutorials with the highlighted browsers. But all other browsers should be same. It you are using any Mozilla firefox based browsers like Flock, Comet Bird, Sea Monkey etc then they should be applied for Firefox. If you are using Iron Browser, then it should be applied for Chrome.

Clear Browsing History in Firefox :

I have mad two screenshot procedures with firefox 3.7 and 4 beta 8. All latest version should be same as 4 beta 8 and all older versions should be same as 3.7 .

In forefox 3.7 :

1. At first go to Tools. You will see a link called "Clear Private Data".

2. Then you will sent to private data clearing page like below.

3. After marking the desired fields, click on Clear Private data now.

In Firefox 4 Beta 8 :

1. Click on firefox at the top left corner.

2. Then go to Options.

3. Now at options page, go to Privacy Tab. Then click on "Clear Recent History".

4. Now at the Privacy cleaner window you can clear your web surfing history also by choosing time.

Clear Browsing History in Google Chrome :

(I will make the example with Chrome 10)

(Important an funny: A modification of Google Chrome experiment where Google fall down due to it's gravity!)

1. First click on Settings icon at the top right corner of chrome. Then click on History.

2. Now at history page, click on Edit Items.

3. Now click on Clear All Browsing Data. Then clear your data also choosing time.

This process also should be applied for other chrome based browsers like Iron Browser which is a privacy conscious version of Google chrome.

Clear Browsing History in Opera :

(I will show the example with opera 11)

1. First click on Menu at the top left corner of opera window. Then proceed Settings > Delete private data.

2. Now at private data cleaner window, click on Detailed Options to expand and view all data selections. Then delete your data.

Clear Browsing History in Internet Explorer :

(I will make the example with IE 8)

1. Go to Tools > Internet Options.

2. Now at general tab, click on Delete under Browsing History bar. Then delete all of your browsing informations.

Clearing Browsing Data in Safari :

(Here I made the example with Safari 5 Windows version. Safari for Mac OS X also should be the same)

(Important : You can also use Safari Web Browser on your favourite Linux OS/Distro)

1. Click on the Settings Icon at the top right corner of safari. Then click on Reset safari.

2. Now delete your all safari data by selecting and resetting them.

Actually Microsoft has incorporated a new feature in the latest build (7057) of Windows 7 which supports the end user to change the logon screen background without using any hacks or third-party tools. Follow the procedure below to change the Windows 7 LogOn screen.

How to change Windows xp/Windows7/Vista Logon Screen without using any software :

1. Edit your registry…… a) Go to run , type regedit and hit enter. b) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background (if there is not such a value or any values of them is absent, create that value) ** For xp users, you have to create last 3/2 (depending on your OS version) values if you want to change logon screen. c) Come to right pane and modify OEMBackground by right mouse click. **If you don’t find (xp/7 user) the OEMBackgroun in right pane, create a DWORD VALUE by right mouse click on Background which is in the right pane. d) New window will come in which value data is 0. It's no doubt that every like to use portable apps. Because portable softwares don't need to install on computer and we can carry them on the go with our USB/Pen drive. So we are able to use them on other places without any problem. Another exciting is that the most popular and important softwares can be found in portable format. I have already posted about huge resources of free portable appz collection for windows. At there gave many popular sites to download portable programs. Are you looking for portable softwares for your favourite Linux Distro? Then don't forget to check about great two resource for free portable Linux softwares.

Our topic is to make our own portable software from a installation file of the program. But very little nomber of tools are out the to let you build custom portable app. But I found a very easy but rich too which will allow you to make a portable version of a software. The so called tool is ThinApp by VMware.

Basic Steps to Build a Portable Version of Your Desired Software with ThinApp :

(Related Important : How to make a Portable Linux OS on your USB/Pendrive to carry it on the go!)

I will make the example with ThinApp version 4.5 . And we are going to make a portable version of WinRar Software. ( WinRar is a popular archiving tool)

1. The program which you are going to make portable, should not be exist as installed on computer now. I will tell you when should you install it. Now you just need the setup file.

2. Now run your Thinapp Setup Capture. (There's a very easy way to find a installed program on windows vista and 7).

It's first window of Thinapp. Click next to proceed.

3. Now click on next to proceed. Then click on PreScan to make a scan for system and registry.

4. After clicking on PreScan, your computer will start to make a little scan on your computer to collect data about recent conditions.

5. After finishing the pre scan thin app will look like below by asking you to install your desired program now.

6. Now before clicking on PostScan, You just to install your desired software that you want to make portable. Also must register it if it requires registration. I installed Winrar and registered it.

After installing the program successfully, click on PostScan. Then ThinApp will start to post scan you computer to gather the informations of changes on the computer in the mean time.

7. After Finishing Post Scan, your Thin App will be prompted with a window like below.

7. From the above window, just mark the program or programs that you have installed after Prescan. I only marked Winrar as I only installed it and wanna make it portable. Then click Next.

8. Above at the Groups setting page, Select Everyone as Groups authorized to run this program. Then click next.

9. After selecting Don't send any information to VMware, click on Next. Then ThinApp will ask you to select the location for saving project folder as following. I made my project folder at Desktop\New Folder(2).

10. After selecting your project destination folder, click on next.

11. Above at the package settings, select "One of the entry points" and "Compress virtual package". Then click Save. Then your ThinApp will start to save the project at the selected destination folder.

12. After saving the project file, it will show a windows like below.

How to Clear All Recent Documents/Files Records in Windows XP, Vista and 7

By many of my friends I was asked several times "How do I remove recent documents records from my windows computer?". So I am going to tell about it. When we work on our windows OS, our windows records all of our file or document browsing history at a place called Recent Documents. Recent Documents tells which files, folders or programs recently we have visited. So if we allow them exist it may harm our privacy. So we should Delete them regularly. There are also many free tools like CCleaner which will allow you to clear all of your windows data containing history even for third party softwares.

How to Delete Recent Documents in Windows:

(Important another: If you browse the web from a public place, you must need to clear your all surfing data/history from your browser.)

Clear Recent Documents in Windows XP :

1. Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and click on 'Properties.'

2. Click on the 'Start Menu' tab.

3. Click on the 'Customize' button.

4. Click on the 'Advanced' tab.

5. At the bottom, under 'Recent Documents', click on the 'Clear List' button.

6. Click on 'OK' twice and your list will now be cleared.

Clear Recent Documents in Windows Vista and 7 :

(I will make the examples with windows 7 an described in three processes)

Process #1 :

1. Click on start menu and athe search bar, search for recent . (It's very easy to find out any program or setting link on windows vista and 7.)

2. Now you will be sent to recent documents folder. And then delete all link to remove all recent documents list.

1. Go to your start menu, then click on your user name.

2. Now from documents list search for the link(Short cut) "Recent". If you don't see the link recent documents, go to tools> Folder Options > View(tab). Now uncheck the settings as I made below.

Then go to recent documents and delete them to clear.

Process #3 :

It seems that, in windows 7 and Vista, the recent documents link is located at C:\users\\recent . My windows username is rijans. So my link is C:\users\rijans\recent . Type this address at windows explores(file explorer/ file manager) and reach to recent documents.

"How can I disable or stop auto-run on my windows computer" is one of the most asked question on windows world. Because the most viruses and other types of malwares are using windows's autorun feature to spread from PC to PC via removable medias like USB Pen drives, Memory Cards, CD/DVDs etc. AutoRun is a feature by windows where windows try to run(while the drive/media is plugged) a program from a removable media via a file called autorun.inf which is stored on that removable media. Malware authors try to take advantage of this hole to spread their viruses. So at a point of time, everybody start to think about stopping this feature. So I was thinking to share about on how to do this job on windows XP, Vista and 7.

Stop AutoRun on Windows XP, Vista and 7 :

Disable AutoRun on Windows XP :

1. Go to Run. Then type gpedit.msc then press enter. Gpedit.msc is actualy Group Policy Editor. Now in Group Policy Editor, do as I did in Windows 7 and Vista's Group Policy Editor.

Disable AutoRun on Windows Vista and 7 :

1. Go to Start Menu and search for gpedit.msc from search bar. (I already described how much it's easy to find out any program on windows vista and 7).

Writing/Typing

Go to Applications > Preferences > Keyboard.
Select the "Layouts" tab.
Select and press "Add".
Chose a layout window will appear.
From By country tab select your country and then select variants.
There is an another tab By language beside the By country tab, select language and variants from By language tab.
Then press add to add your language and you will see a language switcher on the panel/task-bar.
you can also select your keyboard model under the Layout tab.

Select "Keyboard Indicator" and click "Add".
Position the keyboard indicator on your menu bar and click it to switch between keyboard layouts.

Linux with KDE Desktop Viewing:

You do not need to do anything to enable viewing of Indic text. Ensure you have Unicode desire fonts.

Inputting :

In the Control Center, go to Regional & Accessibility, Keyboard Layout
In the tab Layout, click on Enable keyboard layouts
Choose the layouts you want to use in Available layouts
Click on Apply
Now, you will have an icon for the KDE Keyboard Tool in your panel, in which you can change between the various keyboard layouts you have selected before.

Solve Your Windows 7 and Vista Gadget Problems Damages and Error Issues (Part 2)

But that article actually did not solve all the problems of gadgets because it was on not working issue for gadgets. There is another issue for gadgets problem which is called the damaged gadgets. Damaged gadgets problem will show your gadgets but doesn’t work properly. Such as: clock gadget with black background and have only a minute hand, calendar gadget won’t show you anything etc. So what we should do for solving it? Just repair? Just reinstall gadgets again? NO we have to be more aware to installing third party gadgets and should not blame on Microsoft as those gadgets are not given by them but from a trusted party.

Solve Your Damaged Gadgets :

Before starting to solve damaged gadgets……… 1. End all running gadgets on your desktop. To do so Click on start >search gadgets>select view list of running gadgets> remove running gadgets one by one 2. Select Sidebar icon in the system tray>choose Exit. (If sidebar remains on system tray) A new window could come asking Exiting confirmation message and select Yes 3. Right-click on Taskbar>start task manager>select process tab> select sidebar.exe>end process and then close it. (If sidebar.exe remains on process). Resetting the Sidebar :

Paste the following words in Run bar:

%localappdata%\microsoft\Windows Sidebar Where you should see Settings.ini and a folder named gadgets.

Rename both folder and file or create a backup those files elsewhere (My recommendation is to rename those such as: gadgets_old and settings_old.ini). do not close the this explorer.
Now re-launch Sidebar.exe from Start Task Manager>Process tab>file>new task (run…)>type sidebar.exe>hit ok
You’ll notice that sidebar.exe is running again in task manager.
You’ll also notice that new Settings.ini and folder gadgets are created immediately.

Registry Editing :

Please, before acting on this part backup your registry and do that whenever you are changing and editing Registry. Do as follow

Start > Run > Regedit
See carefully, is there any sub-key between \Zones and sub-key 0. If so, delete it.
Restart your computer and verify how your Gadgets are being displayed successfully.

Zone\. (Sub-key “ . “ under Zone) Registry key deleting

Stop the sidebar.exe process (as I explain in the very beginning of this article to stop sidebar.exe).
Restart sidebar process

If your problem is not fixed with Registry changing and editing then read the next part. We will explain how you can track your friends IP address. You will need to do some social engineering in this trick. You will need to ask your friend to mail you something or send him some mail to which he will reply.

Now there can be two scenarios. Your friends/victims IP can be static or dynamic.

Scenario 1: Static IP

Static IP is assigned by the ISP to a specific user, that is, you have one unique IP whenever you log on to the internet. In this case, here's how you can find the IP. We will consider three major email services, viz. gmail, yahoo and hotmail.

Gmail:

Open the mail you have recieved from your friend and click on the down arrow to the right of the reply button. Now click on Show Original.

You will get to see the complete headers of the mail from which you have to find the IP from which this mail was sent. Mostly in case of a static IP, the IP is shown as in the figure

Hotmail:

Right click on the recieved mail and select 'view message source'

You will get the complete message with source. This is how the originating IP looks in hotmail

Yahoo:

Open the mail and at the right bottom of the mail, click on 'Full headers'

Again over here you will get to see the IP in the same format as in hotmail and gmail, shown above.

Scenario 2: Dynamic IP

In case of dynamic IP, hotmail and yahoo wont help much. Whereas Gmail shows the private IP of the sender. Just follow the procedure above as shown for static. On the source page you have to look for the following:

Here the IP 10.141.12.9 is the private IP of our victim. This is how you can get IP information of victims behind subnets. Well sometimes the private is not shown by any of the email services because instead of sending detailed email information a DKIM-signature is sent for authentication.

There are other numerous ways using which we can track our victims IP. Will soon be posting on that.

It only don't works with Apple Safari Browser when I tested it on windows using Safari for windows. Another thing is when you will try to do this with IE (Internet Explorer), IE will open your Default Explorer. Because IE is a part of windows. But except IE and Safari, I didn't find any Problem with Other browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google chrom, Opera etc.

Which Operating Systems Does it Support?

I tested it only on Windows, Linux, WinCE and Symbian OS. But this should work for all OSs. Soon I will inform you about it.

If you are not familiar with what I am talking about, be informed that thousands of mobile wap sites are codded in WML which stands for "Wireless MarkUp Language". These WML based mobile wap sites are only built for cell phone browsers. So there is no problem viewing them on hand-held devices. But the problem occurs when we try to access them from our computer's web browser. Yes if we use opera on our PC, no problem. BUt the most popular desktop web browser firefox cannot load WLM pages. When we enter into a WML wap site, firefox just consider it as a normal file instead of web page! So there is a firefox add-on named "WMLBrowser" which will let you browse any wap site on your computer from firefox!
